I was still in avoidance, distrust and wanting to be 2 metres away from everyone.<br><br>This group has been a life changer for me. I joined some mini events, a trip to a comedy club, a walk, then people joined me at one of my interest groups. I felt visible, valued and welcome just for being me. No judgement on my appearance, age, interests. I became a social human being again with enough confidence to perform my poetry at open mic nights.<br><br>There's a space for everyone and everyone has a space to be themselves even in the midst of the big parties.
